so much to update on...

Wow.... so yeah.. I got back from Puerto Rico...two weeks ago yesterday i would be walking around in San Juan with my Puerto Rican friends.. it has honestly been a hard change from Puerto Rico to Dallas.... I remember getting off of the plane and just wanting to get right back on! (but obviously couldn't) Even though PuertoRico was packed full of ministry opportunities, I came back to Dallas running.. we had our "campus days" which we call the mix (because we cram everything about masters into 3 days) so I have been running around doing stuff for that...then we had an outreach in south dallas which was amazing(primarily red territory... if you get what i am saying...)... I don't know if you remember me writing about the bus ride I had with the outreach director a while back, but it was in that same area... very rough... one of the most touching stories was of this 7 year old boy who came to the outreach and was picking out clothes for his 1 year old twin brothers (we had a "store" set up where people could come and take as many clothes they could fit into backpacks, sacks, garbage bags, etc... some people left with more than one garbage bag full of clothes and hats and belts...) i later found out that this 7 year old brother was practically his brothers father.. constantly watching his twin brothers... when i heard this, I was blown away... I know many kids around that age, and they definitely aren't living their lives solely around helping others who can't help themselves... I know people my age, myself, who if in that same position would be at that outreach looking for personal clothes, not clothes for another...

Easter was amazing... spent it with my dallas family, lupita, laura, mirna, adolfo, alex, and the works!

I was talking with my parents the other night ,and we decided that I won't decide anything about next year until I get back home and readjust for about a week... my parents are so wise!

anyhoo, I am getting ready to leave for the kung fu class e and I go to on mondays... woot woot!
